We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences while supervising kitchen operations and leading a team of culinary professionals.
Duties
1. Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
2. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and portion control guidelines.
3. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
4. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
5. Collaborate with the management team to develop seasonal menus and special offerings.
6. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
7. Train new kitchen staff on culinary techniques, equipment use, and safety protocols.
8. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment.
Skills
1. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
2. Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines, with a passion for culinary arts.
3. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality.
4. Excellent organisational skills, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
