An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technician to join our team at Dudley Community Equipment service. The Community Equipment service (CES) supports people with disabilities with their care needs by providing appropriate community equipment across various settings to the population of Dudley MBC. The service is an integrated and jointly commissioned initiative between Adult Social Care and the NHS Clinical Commissioning Group. The role of the CES Technicians is to be responsible for the distribution, fitting, repair and collection of equipment on loan from the Community Equipment Service To contribute to an efficient service to facilitate early hospital discharge and to help to maintain people in their own homes. You will be working as part of a team to ensure appropriate ant timely delivery and collection of equipment. You will complete daily deliveries and collections. Your day will also involve tasks around the recycling and servicing and testing of community equipment. You will use computers tablets and scanners connected to your work. You will be instrumental in ensuring your vehicle is loaded and cleaned. You will support the leadership team with any other tasks.
