About the role
We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join our team in Barnstaple.
You will be responsible for managing your allocated construction project efficiently whilst maintaining high standards in quality of work, controlling costs and ensuring that the company’s health & safety policies and company requirements are met at all times.
You will be responsible for a small team of Cavanna Homes employees working on your site, along with all subcontract personnel operating on projects allocated to you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivering the construction phase of the project within the time, cost and work-in-progress limits defined in the pre-start pack
2. Ensuring that company quality standards are adhered to at all times
3. Delivering excellent customer service to internal and external customers
4. Leadership of all subcontractors and Cavanna Homes colleagues allocated to the project under your control
5. Liaise effectively with the sales department and customers to ensure the highest level of expectation can be achieved which will include satisfactory communication and completion of inspections and documentation.
6. Ensure build quality and programme dates are achieved for the sections of build responsible to the role for each individual project and in line with the construction department’s policy and procedures
7. Supporting the progression and development of Cavanna Homes colleagues
8. Adhering to all company and statutory health and safety procedures and practices
9. Working with project teams to ensure that customer expectations are met
