Rising Talent Recruitment is excited to present an excellent opportunity for a Production Team Leader at our client's site based in Grangemouth. The ideal candidate will possess solid experience in production management or team leadership within an FMCG environment. In this crucial role, you will support the production teams by ensuring the highest standards of health and safety, and product quality are maintained.
Full Time / 9 Month FTC - Core hours Monday to Thursday, 08:45pm - 6:45am (38 hours p/w) + 25% shift allowance
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide operators with clear direction, setting the appropriate standards of behaviour, which motivates and empowers others to achieve results.
2. Responsible for production out turns daily along with ensuring materials are available at requested times by liaising with relevant departments.
3. Liaise with the Production Administrator to help organise resource needed to accomplish tasks on shift.
4. Ensure teams on-line quality checks are monitored and carried out in accordance with quality testing standards.
5. Ensure compliance to all external accreditation requirements such as BRC, ISO900, OHSAS18001 and HMRC requirements.
6. Provide an engaging and inclusive safe working environment.
Skills and Experience That Will Help You Be a Success:
1. Experience in working in a FMCG production environment.
2. Experience with implementing change and new processes.
3. Knowledge of BRC, ISO and OHSAS.
4. Knowledge of CI procedures.
5. Strong interpersonal skills, effective team worker, strong influencer, communicator and motivator.
6. Excellent collaborator maintaining strong, transparent & positive relations with peers & stakeholders.
