We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated People Services Advisor to join our friendly and fast-paced HR team.
As a key member of the People Services department, you’ll collaborate closely with the Head of People Services to deliver an effective HR advisory and support service.
In this varied and hands-on role, you’ll need to balance multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
You’ll thrive in an environment where you can work independently yet be part of a small team committed to making a real difference and a positive impact.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a calm, patient approach to supporting staff and volunteers at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Providing comprehensive HR advice and support to employees and managers.
2. Handling day-to-day HR tasks, including employee relations, recruitment of staff and volunteers, and HR administration.
3. Supporting with the delivery of HR initiatives and projects.
4. Ensuring high standards of confidentiality and compliance with HR policies and procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
1. A solid generalist HR background with experience in a similar advisory role.
2. Ideally, you’ll be CIPD Level 3 qualified (or working towards), although this is not essential.
3. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build strong working relationships.
5. A self-starter who can work autonomously and meet deadlines.
