Be the heartbeat of a fast growing and thriving entrepreneurial community!
Do you have a passion for building communities? Are you ready to be part of something truly groundbreaking? Join us at Founders at the University of Cambridge and help shape the future of entrepreneurship.
Why you will love this role:
Imagine being at the heart of a flourishing community of technology and science innovators. As our Community Engagement & Content Lead, you'll be the catalyst behind connecting brilliant minds, organising inspiring events, and crafting captivating content.
You’ll foster a supportive network of entrepreneurs, founders, and mentors, bringing them together to create a community that’s buzzing with ideas and ambition.
Every day, you’ll be working at the intersection of innovation and community, hosting dynamic events both online and offline, creating engaging content, and ensuring that every member of our network feels valued and connected.
A key part of your role will be developing relationships with alums of the University as well as experts in various deep tech fields as a community. Additionally, you will be expected to build a mentoring programme that pairs founders from our accelerator programs with a global network of experienced mentors and operators. You’ll create a high quality and seamless onboarding process that draws people from diverse geographies, industries, and backgrounds.
Whether it’s organising a high-profile networking event or crafting a compelling and viral story that showcases the latest breakthroughs, your work will have a real, lasting impact. And in return, you’ll gain unparalleled experience and connections in one of the world’s most prestigious innovation ecosystems.
What we're looking for:
* Community Builder: Proven experience in developing strategies for growing and managing digital and physical communities using tools like AirTable, Hubspot, Slack and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Have a genuine interest in understanding and supporting community members.
* Event Maestro: Strong track record of planning and executing successful events, both in-person and online.
* Content Creator: Ability to design and produce engaging content across various mediums—video, audio, and written.
* Marketing Engagement: Ability to use content to drive engagement within and outside the community and for the proposition as a whole.
* Relationship Manager: Experience working and communicating with senior stakeholders, Board members and sponsors, ensuring mutual value and satisfaction.
* Partnership Management: Experience managing partners who contribute to the community’s activities.
* Data Management & Optimisation: At ease with personal data management, juggling invitation and mentor lists, tracking information with consistent attention to detail.
* Operational Excellence and Capability: Experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously at speed with full accountability in reaching successful data-driven outcomes.
* Proactive Approach: Confident in being able to work independently and with others, as well as part of a team to deliver on expectations.
Nice to have:
* Experience in a similar role at an accelerator program, managing communities and partnerships.
* Experience in running immersive learning programs where the element of community is a critical ingredient to success.
* Familiarity with the University of Cambridge ecosystem and its network of alumni and partners.
* Knowledge of how technology ecosystems thrive and grow, especially via communities.
