As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a Credit Controller to join our Finance team to ensure that our accounts are managed effectively to allow the successful operation and growth of our business.

Essentials:
* Proven knowledge and experience of working in a credit control department.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of building effective working/customer relationships.
* Attention to detail to ensure work is produced to a high standard and communications/notes are accurate and up to date at all times.
* Good planning and organisation skills are required, as is self-motivation to ensure tasks are completed to deadlines set.
* A flexible ‘can do’ attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to change as business processes/systems evolve.
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in English and Maths at grades C or above.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Be part of a team that values diversity, sustainability, and continuous innovation, where your ideas and contributions matter.
* Downloading cash from the bank and posting in SAP (multiple currencies).
* Effective cash collections (emails/calls/customer relationships) to minimise overdue balances.
* Liaising with internal teams to find solutions for late payments and order/deliveries blocks.
* Credit checking new Customers and performing ongoing reviews for existing Customers.
* Proposing (obtaining approval) and maintaining accurate credit limits and payment terms.
* Following Credit Policy, working instructions and other Company Policies.
* Assisting with month end reporting and other ad hoc requests.

This is a hybrid role based at our Hesslewood site, with the flexibility of 2 remote working days per week.
