Job Description
Due to restructure within the Humanities department, the school wishes to appoint a History teacher on a full-time basis, to start ASAP in a fantastic school in Enfield.
The School is a mixed, comprehensive secondary school situated in North London. It is a community state school which will provide over 1000 places for secondary students aged 11-16 but is consistently oversubscribed. The School boasts state of the art facilities and a passionate and committed faculty.
Full-time History teacher required ASAP and continuing to September 2023.
Must be able to teach History across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Ofsted graded GOOD' Secondary school.
The department is experienced and supportive. The school is served by good transport links (a 9-minute walk from the closest station), as well as a car parking facility.
The incoming History teacher will have the opportunity to create diverse lessons that cater to the needs of each pupil to ensure progress is being made and will have full access to resources and learning spaces throughout the department.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Ability to teach History across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
