About the role Temporary Full-Time opportunity (up to 3 years) The Business Systems Unit is small team responsible for the management and support of several of Council’s Corporate Business Systems including the investigation and implementation of new and enhanced systems and procedures to support the organisation’s evolving Business Management and reporting needs. The Senior Business Analyst will coordinate and manage Council’s Financial Management Information System which includes the provision of support services to users; day-to-day systems administration; report writing, facilitation of training programs; and integration, development and enhancement of various corporate systems. In addition, you will be responsible for project-based work as required which includes system upgrades and development and enhancement of Councils Corporate Management Systems. About You We are looking for a motivated and experienced business analyst that can think outside the box to develop and implement innovative and efficient processes and systems to complement Council’s evolving business management and reporting needs. Essential criteria Tertiary qualifications in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline Demonstrated experience in the coordination and management of ERP systems. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and liaise with staff across a range of functional areas Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on achieving positive outcomes/results. Demonstrated ability in Report Writing Tools Strong Computer skills in Microsoft products Desirable criteria Previous Local Government experience Current Class C drivers’ licence Experience in TechnologyOne Software Products Commencing salary: $103,939.00 per annum, plus 11.5% Superannuation.
