Job description: Circet requires multiple lineworkers in Northern Ireland for nationwide, long-term work within the Power Division. The lineworker will be a dedicated team member, adhering to procedures, focused on producing high-quality service, being highly productive, and mindful of costs.
Main duties:
* Ensure all works comply with current and future health and safety legislation, relevant standards, and procedures.
* Interface with chargehand, site supervision, and customer representatives.
* Carry out maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of overhead lines as directed.
* Work at height on poles and towers in a safe and professional manner, utilizing MEWPs when required.
* Be responsible when carrying out works on the customer's property.
Experience, skills, and knowledge:
* Current driver's license.
* Current NIEN authorization.
* Current IPAF accreditation.
* Pole Top Rescue certificate.
* Manual Handling certificate.
* City and Guilds Linesperson qualification or equivalent.
* Minimum of four years proven experience in the role.
* Strong understanding of project health and safety requirements.
* High attention to detail.
* Basic customer service skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Health and safety compliance:
* Monitor site practices and routines to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
* Ensure training needs are identified and arrange for personnel to attend necessary courses.
