Permanent | Part-time - 30 hours per week
We are looking for someone to provide high-quality clinical typing and administrative support as part of our Children Looked After Health Service team. You’ll work with the Secretarial Team Leader and clinical staff to ensure smooth operations and patient care.
No NHS experience? No problem! While we can teach medical terminology, we value your willingness to learn, dedicated attitude, and commitment to our Trust CARE values. If you can manage a busy workload and help keep things running smoothly, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
1. Type clinical letters, correspondence, and admin tasks from notes or dictation.
2. Ensure clinic letters are sent out on time and to the required standards.
3. Communicate with secretaries and consultants to meet 18-week targets.
4. Manage patient appointments, waiting lists, and tests, escalating issues when needed.
5. Update RTT info and help with database management.
6. Handle office tasks like photocopying, filing, and managing post.
7. Provide phone support to parents and escalate complex issues.
