Job summary Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a full-time 10 PA Consultant Old Age Psychiatrist to join a fully supported inpatient team at Cherry Ward, based at Highbury Hospital. The post holder will be expected to provide senior medical input to the team, as described elsewhere in the job description. They will also be expected to participate in local leadership meetings and work with local operational leads on service development and the improvement of quality of services locally. You will work in a consultative role supporting other team members and will carry a compact caseload of the most complex and unstable cases. The Community Mental Health Team receive circa 900 referrals a year of which 80% are assessed by the nursing team. In addition to this there are x2 Core Trainees on rotation within this service working 2 sessions each. You will be supported in undertaking your role with a full-time secretary and IT support.
