Job Summary
An opportunity has arisen for experienced clinicians to join the Transformation Directorate's Digital Clinical Informatics team. We are recruiting for a Senior Clinical Informatics Specialist within the NHS Pathways team.
NHS Pathways is an evidence-based suite of clinical content that supports Urgent & Emergency care within the NHS. It is used across NHS 111 and 999 Telephony, NHS 111 Online, and in Urgent and Emergency Treatment centres. Our clinical team uses system data and clinical acumen to develop and maintain the questions, care advice, and algorithms, continuously improving the product for use in Urgent and Emergency Care.
The system underpins the largest telephone triage system in the world and enables the triage of approximately 25 million calls annually.
The clinical content of the system is governed by the National Clinical Advisory Group, which has representation from all the major, relevant Royal Colleges, chaired by the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges.
