We operate 24/7, and as such you are required to work flexible hours, weekends, and participate in an on-call rota. Full training, PPE, and use of company equipment will be provided to ensure that all our drainage engineers have the right tools, competency, and confidence to undertake the work to Lanes’ high standard of operation regardless of background or previous experience.

Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Hours: 4 days on 4 days off, 40.25 hours (earlies and lates)
Salary: £17.00 per hour

About the Role:
Due to continued growth and development, we are now looking for customer-focused people to join us in our Logistics Management Division, working to deliver effective solutions to waste-water network and drainage problems.
1. Delivering customer service
2. Ensuring vehicle stock is full and replenished
3. Complying with health and safety responsibilities (i.e., PPE / safe site setups) protecting Lanes Group employees, the public, and other road users
4. Providing flow management support and taking ownership of jobs
5. Utilising in-house software such as Big Change, Samsara, and LMC driver app
6. Conducting thorough inspections of tools, equipment, and plant before/after use
7. Reporting any defects or malfunctions
8. Carrying out risk assessments and having a mature approach to risk perception
9. Being aware of Lanes Group policies and your responsibilities toward them
10. Any other reasonable ad hoc duties requested by management

About You:
The ideal candidate will be hardworking, respectful, and compliant with health and safety standards.
You must have a minimum of an HGV Class 2 licence, completed the certificate of professional competence (CPC), and have an up-to-date digi tachograph card.
