About the Role:
As an Occupational Therapist at our facility, you will play a fundamental role in our team, prioritising the well-being of children and young people. Working across both primary and secondary areas, you will contribute to the assessment, diagnosis, and implementation of strategies to enhance the educational outcomes of children with communication needs. Managing your own caseload, flexibility is key as you deliver therapy services based on clinical requirements. Active participation in multi-disciplinary meetings, staff meetings, supervision, training, and annual appraisals is expected.
About You:
1. Occupational Therapist with a Dip COT, BSc, or MSc in Occupational Therapy, along with HCPC and BAOT registration.
2. Previous experience in a special school setting, CAMHS service, or pediatric environment
3. Sensory integration experience, or a willingness to further develop their knowledge.
