We’re looking for a passionate and dynamic Social Media & Marketing Executive to join our team in Leeds and take ownership of managing organic social media content for our pages in Leeds and Sheffield, as well as commercial social media content for our clients in areas such as hospitality, leisure, tourism, and property. This role is perfect for someone who loves creating content, staying ahead of trends, is excited about bringing fresh ideas to the table, and can manage everything from initial strategy to execution whilst juggling a busy workload. While a big chunk of your work will focus on content creation for our pages through organic and client posts, you’ll also have the opportunity to support our Group’s own brand, marketing strategy, and growth. What You’ll Do: Take full ownership of your work helping to push the Group’s social media strategy forward and executing a variety of content across our channels Create, curate, and manage engaging content across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) for The Hoot and The Sheff as well as assisting with client content where needed - you’ll be able to create and edit video and photography Be the trendsetter - constantly monitor social media trends and innovations, leading our efforts to adopt new strategies that benefit our business and our clients Build and nurture our online communities, engaging with followers and responding to comments/messages Collaborate with internal teams and manage external partners when required to execute content and campaigns seamlessly Analyse social media performance, report on key metrics, and adjust strategies to ensure continuous improvement Support in the Group’s brand strategy and growth We’re Looking For: A self-starter with proven experience in managing social media accounts for multiple channels, ideally with experience working in an agency - you know how to run a project from end to end A confident content editor, ideally with an understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud: Premier Pro and Photoshop, as well as other editing software such as Capcut Someone with a passion for trends and digital storytelling who can bring fresh ideas to the table and deliver them across diverse industries A vibrant personality, excited to drive the Group’s social media presence forward and open new opportunities for our brand and the clients we work with, and thrives in a fast-paced environment Very strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently, while also collaborating effectively with the team and external partners - this includes overseeing the day-to-day content production calendar for The Hoot and The Sheff, plus assisting with our social media schedules and our project management platform on Monday.com.
