Description
Hewson Farms, located in Mid Canterbury, is looking for an experienced, competent, and highly motivated individual for a fixed-term, permanent position as an Agriculture Machinery Operator.
The ideal candidate must be able to work confidently and independently and should have at least 4+ years of experience working on a progressive arable farm. This role involves assisting during grain, potato, and onion harvest season.
The successful applicant must have at least 2+ years of experience operating the following machinery:
1. Top Air air head onion harvester
2. Fendt tractors equipped with the latest Trimble GPS and yield monitoring technology.
Applicants for this position must be available from mid-January to June. Applicants should have NZ residency or a valid work visa and a full driver's licence.
