Event Coordinator sought for a stunning 105-bedroom hotel in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, to manage events and exceed guest expectations.
The Waterside Hotel is a renowned wedding venue, accommodating up to 250 guests. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
* Collaborating with marketing and public relations teams to develop event concepts and establish deadlines.
* Managing event budgets, invoicing, and logistics.
* Sourcing and negotiating with vendors to ensure quality services.
* Overseeing event promotions, communications, and branding.
* Supervising caterers, junior event coordinators, and security teams.
* Resolving guest inquiries and issues promptly.
* Approving all event activities.
* Preparing detailed reports and presenting event summaries to management.
The ideal candidate will:
* Have a deep understanding of wedding and event planning, as well as hotel operations.
* Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Have strong organizational and time management abilities.
* Have a passion for creating exceptional events and exceeding guest expectations.
* Be available for part-time work (15-20 hours/week) with flexible shifts to accommodate company needs.
