We’re seeking a Lead Program Engineer - Electrical and Electronic Systems to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to our Vehicle Line Manager for Electrical and Electronic systems, you will have the opportunity to lead the development and delivery of Electrical and Electronic hardware (and associated software) for one of our new vehicle projects.
This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity from our offices near Leamington Spa. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

What you will do:
* Manage delivery of the overall electrical system (and associated software content) for one of our new vehicle programmes in collaboration with our in-house experts, development partners and Tier 1 suppliers. You will be the first point of contact for all electrical activities for your project.
* Work collaboratively with the Electrical and Controls Chief Engineers to ensure that technical deliverables are on time and to the required level of expectation (aligned with the overall project gateway timing and associated deliverable content).
* Provide leadership to a matrix team of multi-disciplined electrical and electronic engineers (Systems, EDS, CAD designers, controls, test and validation, FuSa, Cyber) with a mission to achieve project milestones within the target timeframe.
* Responsible for project deliverables throughout the project life cycle including engineering process requirements, commodity planning, engineering releases, cost and budget, timing and weight management, resource definition and tracking.
* Work in collaboration with the Project Management Office (PMO) and cross functional departments (including finance, quality, procurement, attributes, vehicle development, legislation and certification, design studio) to co-ordinate multi-party activities to ensure synchronised delivery of electrical systems deliverables. Implement mitigation strategies when things go off-plan and use the project network to help solve complex issues.
Who you are:
* Proven experience in a leadership or management role, overseeing a team of engineers
* Strong technical knowledge of automotive Electronic/Electrical architectures and associated development and delivery across the full System-V (including underlying network and diagnostic technologies)
* Knowledge of Functional Safety processes and associated delivery
* Knowledge of Cyber security requirements and associated delivery
* Excellent project and stakeholder management
* Experience of an Electronics, Control Systems, Automotive or similar honours engineering degree. Other recognised engineering qualifications combined with relevant significant experience will be considered
