We are working with a large SEN school for those aged 11-19 who have a range of needs. These needs can include but are not limited to, Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties and Social, Emotional Mental Health needs. The school are looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to support those who present with challenging behaviours as a result of their additional needs. The ideal Behaviour Support Assistant would have: Experience of working with challenging behaviour Passion for working with young people A proactive personality The Behaviour Support Assistant role would involve: Supporting the young people within the classroom environment Providing emotional support One-to-one interventions The school is located in the Salford area and has great transport links to the surrounding area and Manchester City centre, including buses and trains. To be successful in your application, you must be able to provide evidence of this as skills and experience.
