Job overview
As the Learning and Development (L&D) Operations Manager (Business Administration), you will be an integral part of the L&D Senior Leadership Team, striving to achieve the Trust Strategy and vision through the delivery of our L&D Continuous Improvement Plan, ultimately providing excellence in patient care and efficiency.
You will drive stakeholder management and customer service to deliver a high quality, responsive, and efficient Learning and Development (L&D) services. This includes supporting strategic change and the identification of service development opportunities, underpinned by robust operational, people and project management across the service. Furthermore, you will grow a wide network, building links across Integrated Care Systems to explore opportunities for collaborative working.
The role will include cross site working across all of our UHDB sites.
Main duties of the job
You will be experienced in lean thinking, process design, data curation and creation, resource management (rooms, equipment), contracting, finance administration, customer communication and reporting (to internal stakeholders and external regulator bodies e.g. CQC, Education QA). Focus will be on customer experience, reducing waste, creating efficiencies, and measuring the impact of all L&D activities - on individuals (learners), teams, and organisational culture and ultimately patient outcomes.
Importantly, your compassionate and inclusive leadership style will lead a team of skilled administrative professionals, where your expertise in people management, business administration, data management and reporting, continuous quality improvement and change management will shine through your everyday practice.

Minimum Requirements
* • Educated to degree level (or equivalent knowledge gained through experience) with previous management experience.
* • Knowledge and experience of project/change management tools and techniques gained through significant experience.
* • Good written communication with all groups of staff (internal and external) and occasionally patients.
* • Relationship Management with colleagues at all levels with the ability to liaise and develop effective relationships.
* • Ability to analyse complex data sets and make judgments by comparing a range of options.
