An independent preparatory school for girls aged 2-11 in Chalfont St Peter, Gerrards Cross, catering for 370 students and teachers daily. We offer a core feeding of nursery feeding, breakfast club, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, and tea. This is a term-time plus contract, working 48 weeks and operates Monday to Friday. Additional benefits include free parking and use of the swimming pool.
We are looking for a talented Chef De Partie to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Bucks.
You will have previous experience working within a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level. You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients and regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.
Key responsibilities:
* Work well in a team of chefs providing catering services to pupils and teachers.
* Produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch, and following the company's brand standards.
* Ensure company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
* Follow all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures.
You will have the following skills:
* A genuine interest in food and excellent customer service.

* An organised Chef with attention to detail.
* Understanding of the basics of food cost and wastage.
* Ability to demonstrate reasonable/good understanding and use of verbal English.
* Ability to demonstrate reasonable/good standard of written English and reading skills.
* Similar experience in a customer and/or food preparation environment is preferred.
