Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Up to £50,000 + 4 day working week!
Situation:
We are recruiting for a global company specializing in the design, development, and manufacturing of high-performance polymer-based components and systems. They are known for their expertise in rubber, elastomeric, and polymer solutions tailored to industries like rail, defence, automotive, and industrial engineering.
The Group has been expanding its business and pipeline with a strong focus on growth and innovation. Their growth strategy includes significant acquisitions, which has enhanced their global presence and broadened their product offerings, especially in the rail and industrial sectors. From this business growth, the site in Little Hampton is searching for 2 x maintenance engineers, one specializing in Hydraulics & the other in Electrical as it aims to become the Centre of Excellence for the business.
Opportunity:
An Electrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure uninterrupted production. Key tasks include:
1. Performing preventive and corrective maintenance
2. Overseeing installations
3. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
4. Optimizing system performance
5. Emergency response to electrical failures
6. Documenting maintenance activities
7. Collaborating with teams to enhance efficiency
Strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of regulatory standards are essential.
Essential Criteria To Secure An Interview:
1. Latest wiring regulations - 18th Edition of the British Standard BS 7671
2. Extensive experience in electrical works, control panel wiring, etc.
3. Experienced in working on electrical maintenance in both office-based & machinery-based environments
4. Hydraulic experience (Desirable not essential)
Working Model:
Monday – Thursday - 6:00-16:30
Salary & Package:
Up to £50,000 + benefits
