Job summary We are looking for an AHP Programme Lead for Workforce Transformation & Development, to join NEL ICB in a secondment capacity to coordinate system strategic planning and implementation of work to deliver against the NHSE WTE AHP Workforce Training and Education priorities for 2024/25. Applicants should be available to start as soon as possible to ensure delivery commences within this financial year. Working as part of the NEL AHP Faculty team, and reporting to the NEL Director of AHPs, you will play a pivotal role in driving improvements and improving outcomes for our NEL AHP Workforce, with a particular focus on apprenticeships, advanced, enhanced and consultant practice. You will link to the AHP Faculty, NEL AHP workforce, Higher Education Institutions, and other system partners to coordinate and sustain engagement and momentum on driving system growth of apprenticeships and system collaboration on optimising advanced, enhanced and consultant level practice. Main duties of the job The NEL AHP Programme Lead for Workforce Strategy & Development- will lead the strategic workforce planning and development for AHPs across NEL, with focus on Apprenticeships and Advanced Practice growth and development. The aim of the role is to ensure that the NEL AHP Faculty is delivering against its objectives and enabling system collaboration and delivery on AHP career pathways and development, in line with NEL ICB People and Culture Strategy. The role will also support with regional and national engagement and workforce strategy alignment. You will be an experienced AHP leader, with evidenced project management skills and a strong interest in supporting, developing, and growing the NEL workforce, particularly in apprenticeships and advanced, enhanced and consultant practice.
