We are looking for a Branch Manager to join us at Huws Gray Birkdale - Southport!
If you’re in the trade or have ever tackled a home improvement project, you’ve probably heard of us. We’re the Huws Gray Group, made up of a number of brands, including Huws Gray, Hirebase, Civils & Lintels, The Timber Group, PDM, NDI, and Anglia Tool Centre. Up and down the UK, our branches serve and support our local communities with all their building material needs, but we couldn’t do this without the right people, so why not join us?
We rely on our Branch Managers to support their teams in driving customer sales to deliver outstanding branch performance, as well as developing their colleagues to their full potential. Our Branch Managers demonstrate excellent leadership, are approachable, knowledgeable, and passionate about their role. They ensure that their branch operates efficiently and in line with company policy.
Working in one of our branches, you’ll be part of a team where everyone is putting in the effort to offer brilliant customer service and get the job done.
Here’s a quick overview of some of the responsibilities you can expect as a Branch Manager with Huws Gray:
* Delivering excellent customer service
* Taking responsibility for the P&L & customer ledger
* Generating & developing business opportunities
* Enabling your team to reach their full potential through regular in-house and supplier training, one-to-ones, and annual performance reviews
* Managing all resources within the branch, including stock, machines & vehicles
We know that you are more than just a CV, and embracing everyone’s individuality is what makes us great as a team. We can provide plenty of training and equip you with the tools you’ll need to succeed as a Branch Manager, but previous experience in a management role is necessary for this position. We also welcome applications from current Assistant Branch Managers in a similar industry looking to develop their career.
We know you’re thinking ‘this sounds great, but what’s in it for me?’ Let us tell you:
* Competitive rates of pay
* Company Car
* 24 days annual leave in addition to recognized public and bank holidays
* Company attendance and performance bonuses
* Company pension scheme – in line with auto-enrollment
* Death In Service
* Career progression and personal development opportunities
* Being part of a “team” as opposed to just being a number
* Staff discounts on items purchased from any of our nationwide branches
Our online application process takes less time to complete than it does to make a good brew, so stick the kettle on and make your application!
