They are seeking a dedicated nursery assistant with previous experience and a strong commitment to professional growth. Upon completion of induction, your responsibilities will include:
8. Planning age-appropriate activities to support the specific development needs of individual children
9. Building strong relationships with parents and carers while assuming key children responsibilities
10. Conducting observations during EYFS curriculum-based activities to monitor progress and achievements
11. Maintaining accurate records of children's development through regular observations
12. Assisting with children's hygiene routines and mealtimes
13. Creating a safe and enjoyable environment, prioritising health and safety at all times
14. Safeguarding children and reporting welfare concerns to management
15. Documenting daily diary sheets for children and conducting end-of-day handovers with parents
16. Supporting the training and development of other staff members in the room
Requirements for this role include:
17. Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one through Randstad
18. Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 is essential
19. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
20. Excellent communication skills
21. Strong work ethic and professional demeanour
22. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
23. Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
24. Dedication to children's development with an energetic, can-do attitude
