We’ve come a long way, join us in the next step of our incredible journey What are we looking for We have an opportunity for a Stack Assembly Technician. You will be involved with the manufacture of ITM Power’s patented membrane assembly, working in our Stack team as well as general production duties. You will support the Team Leader in completing daily activities within the Stack Assembly department, to build and manufacture the core technology component in our electrolyser. The shift pattern is weekly rotating – 0600-1400 and 14.00-22.00. Responsibilities Operating and maintaining production machinery or processes as required Performing quality assurance and testing checks Maintaining cleanliness of work areas Completing machinery pre-use checks and reporting faults where necessary Working to standard procedures to maintain high quality through-put Maintaining quality standards and reporting defects Ensuring the work areas are stocked as required Adhering to workplace H&S procedures Ensuring required documentation is completed and maintained Flexible to complete other duties and responsibilities as directed About You Knowledge and Experience Experience of working in a production environment Computer literate A good knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety guidelines Experience of delivering to plan right first time Experience of working to and achieving production targets Skills and Abilities Ability to assess data against a set of pre-defined parameters Good with hands on task completion, able to see a task through from start to finish Be able to work to production deadlines Ability to highlight potential failures before they occur Strong communication skills and can effectively interact with all key stakeholders Excellent time management and organisation skills and a willingness to remain flexible Excellent attention to detail and can demonstrate good problem-solving ability Can work independently and as part of a team Ability to raise improvement ideas What can we offer you The opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a rapidly growing industry, within a dynamic environment where you can shape the future of energy and work with a team that’s actively addressing global climate challenges.
