The Role - Section Planner Your role will be critical in delivering the planning and administration of the service area works portfolio. This work ensures the safety and reliability of Nexus Infrastructure and facilitates the delivery of the asset management regime aligned to Nexus planning regulations, Nexus safety and integrated management system and the Nexus Rule Book. You will use multiple systems and databases, to undertake and develop detailed, fully resourced and optimised work plans for all the departments front line employees to utilise. You will lead the departments 'Plan Do Review’ process ensuring access requirements are in accordance with the corporate planning processes. You must be able to use your own initiative, have the ability to multitask and have excellent time management, prioritisation skills are essential for this role. You will be based within one of our Rail Infrastructure teams as your host department whilst working across other Rail Infrastructure departments when required to. The person Working within the Rail Infrastructure Maintenance Service Area, you will be a skilled communicator who has good people skills. You will be highly organised, able to multi task and have excellent time management skills. You will ideally hold a Railway Operations, Core Planning Skills or Administrative equivalent Level 3 qualification or have attained the appropriate level of knowledge gained through demonstrable equivalent time served experience. Knowledge of the Railway Industry with reference to Safety Regulations, Railway Group Standards, Regulatory and Consumer Benefit requirements are essential.
