My client, a growing small-to-medium civil engineering contractor, is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a major civil engineering project in West Ruislip, West London. This is an ongoing position working with a close-knit and proactive team on a directly delivered project worth £10m+.
The selected candidate will have broad experience across all rail and civil engineering projects. Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience working with tier 2 contractors, especially within the concrete sector.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Working alongside the Contracts Manager and Commercial team to ensure delivery
2. Practical application of Project Management techniques in a transport setting
3. Assisting with the contract with multiple interfaces, to time and budget
4. Setting up and managing the construction plans
5. Helping to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget
6. Working closely with a team of Engineers
7. Liaising with the client
8. Weekly and monthly planning and forecasting
Candidate Requirements:
1. Degree qualified in Construction, Engineering, or equivalent
2. Previous experience as a Project Manager
3. Excellent communication and organizational skills
4. A valid CSCS card
