Education and Training
£20 - £30 Per hour
Responsibilities
* Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 Looked After Children (LAC)
* Create engaging lesson plans to support individual learning needs
* Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Collaborate with teachers and social workers to ensure holistic support for LAC
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
Minimum Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
* Experience working with Looked After Children
* Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with LAC
* Enhanced DBS check
Skills and Qualifications
* Strong understanding of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Empathy and sensitivity towards the needs of Looked After Children
Additional Information
* Part-Time hours, flexible scheduling
