The role will involve working collaboratively with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and deliver insightful solutions that enhance decision-making processes.
This role can be undertaken on a remote basis with potential occasional travel to any of our offices across the UK.
About the role:
1. Engage with business stakeholders and SME's to capture and agree reporting and analytics requirements and provide guidance to the BI Development team.
2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define business intelligence needs and objectives.
3. Developing and documenting business requirements for BI solutions.
4. Analyzing data and generating meaningful reports that support strategic decisions.
5. Utilizing BI tools to visualize data and present findings to stakeholders.
6. Identifying opportunities for process improvements through data analysis.
7. Ensure consistent use of standard business terminology and data sources.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
8. Experience as a Business Analyst with demonstrable experience delivering solutions around Business Intelligence.
9. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data set.
10. Experience in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
11. Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
13. Ability to translate business requirements into uses cases in ADO (with descriptions, acceptance criteria, functional and non-functional requirements).
14. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights to non-technical audiences.
15. An ability to present visualisations/reports in a business context to business stakeholders.
