Procurement Buyer – Doncaster/Hybrid (3 days WFH) – Competitive Salary + 20% Bonus
Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be working with a national leading business based in Doncaster who are looking to recruit a Procurement Buyer to join their team.
As a Procurement Buyer, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of procurement strategy and to provide procurement advice across the business.

Procurement Buyer Duties:
* Manage the procurement of a variety of commodities, services and projects, including management of the supplier base and appropriate contracts / terms and conditions
* Management of strategic procurement projects / initiatives
* Provide support, advice and training to business managers in respect of all procurement activities
* Integration, review and maintenance of group supplier base, maximising efficiency and cost-effectiveness
* Work closely with the SHEQ team to ensure suppliers comply with group requirements in respect of health & safety and environmental issues
* Manage supplier relationships in order to achieve maximum efficiency / benefit
* Address and resolve procurement problems, challenging under-performing suppliers and taking robust action to remedy issues / prevent recurrence
* Assist in the development of specifications and identification of suitable suppliers of goods and services
* Review quotations and negotiate prices with key suppliers
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Flexi time)
Required skills & experience:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in procurement and contract management
* Experience of purchasing of commodities, services and capital projects
* Experience with running tenders
* Proficient in use of MS Office suite, particularly MS Excel
