Working within the Training Hub, the post holder will be expected to drive the delivery of projects and objectives while developing and implementing processes and systems to manage project information. The post holder will provide accurate, timely, and high-quality reports on project progress and outputs against forecasts and strategic aims. The post holder will work with the Strategic Clinical Lead, Quality Assurance Lead, and Programme Leads to identify and overcome risks to ensure successful delivery of projects and the objectives of the programmes. It is expected that this role will support some clinical projects as well as flex and adapt to multiple projects, working to meet demands in the training hub.
Main duties of the job
* Working in partnership with all key stakeholders to develop, maintain, and report on clinical projects within L&SC PCTH
* Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks
* Structure and manage integrated, multitrack performance databases for digital, print, social, broadcast, and experiential projects
* Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party organisations within primary care and the wider ICB system
* Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables
* Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
* Ensure that equality and diversity issues are recognised and addressed in accordance with legislation, policies, and procedures
* Ensure confidentiality for all stakeholders is always adhered to
* Flexibility to adapt the role as required due to the evolving nature and growth of the L&SC PCTH as an organisation
* Ensure values of L&SC PCTH and MBPCC are upheld
* Able to represent project leads at meetings when deputised
* Able to present project methodology and outcomes at local/regional meetings
Requirements for the role
* Background in Health & Social Care
* Provide evidence of ongoing professional knowledge
* Experience of service improvement methodology, including project management
* Experience of education & training service delivery
* Experience of multi-disciplinary team working and cross-organisational working
Qualifications
* Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification or experience
* Evidence of continuing professional development
Experience
* Detailed knowledge of project planning, implementation & project management gained through experience of using formal project planning tools
* Experience in business case development
* Communication with multiple stakeholder projects and demonstrable experience of working in a complex change environment with multiple stakeholders
* Excellent presentation and report writing skills
* Proven strong organisational, project management, and time management skills and ability to include the right tasks in the work breakdown structure of a project plan
* Proven ability to engage all stakeholders
* Ability to prioritise workload of others while balancing own workload(s)
* Experience of a range of IT programmes. Using strong proven capability with MS Office applications including Excel & PowerPoint
* Good understanding of the Health and Social Care sector and an appreciation of the complex interdependencies within the system
* Proven ability in analysing information provided by technical staff, managerial staff, and suppliers to extract the important criteria for successful outcomes in managing a project
