About the Role The role of the Project Officer is to assist in ensuring the Business Change team deliver on APF change programme, focused on digital transformation of pension systems and that it achieves its strategic objectives. The postholder will be responsible for managing day-to-day tasks within the Business Change team including providing cover for the Business Analyst role and maintaining project management standards across APF. In addition, the postholder will be responsible for managing a portfolio of regulatory pensions projects and be involved in the broader technical initiatives which are aligned with the organisation's digital strategic objectives as set out in the Administration Strategy. This will include defining objectives and scope, setting requirements, planning, mobilising people and resources, monitoring progress, business readiness, and final implementation. It will be important to work with discipline and structure, to meet project deadlines and deliver within quality and budget. A key element of this role is to engage and utilise SMEs within the APF in the management of complex cases to fulfil the requirements of a delivery, such as documentation of processes, management of complex cases and ensuring the quality checking of outputs completed by others.
