You must have good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills and be able to show you are self motivated and flexible in your approach to your work to meet the requirements for our developing service. You are expected to work within key performance indicators as part of the service provision and show that you can work on your own initiative with Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians, Nursing staff, Medical staff and other healthcare professionals in line with the Trust values. To support both our ward based services and dispensary we use automation through our ROWA robot and automated storage cabinets at ward level. The Pharmacy utilises aspects of our EMIS/Ascribe system to automate ordering and checking wherever possible. To support your development, local training will be provided on medicines management to the successful candidates and your development needs will be identified through an annual individual performance development review.
