Business Development Executive – Premium Spirits Portfolio – Essex
Up to £40k + Electric Car + Bonus
My client is an established and leading name in the high-end spirits industry, renowned for our exceptional range of premium and artisanal spirits. They pride themselves on delivering top-quality products and unparalleled service to their clients.
They are seeking a Business Development Executive to join the team covering Essex. The Business Development Executive will instrumental in growing the existing account base, nurturing new business and delivering on the company wide sales strategy.
The ideal Business Development Executive will be hungry for sales, inquisitive and driven to succeed – with a great understanding of the Essex drinks market and On Trade.
Business Development Executive Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for selling, promoting and delivering the company’s product portfolio and delivering its revenue targets
2. Building new business in the Essex region along with maintaining existing leads and upselling on current business.
3. Understanding portfolio and be able to deliver this knowledge of wine and spirits across to clients.
4. Dealing with independent, groups, wholesalers and activations – along with training an activations of products.
5. Acting as a Brand Ambassador to and for clients and consumers
6. Planning, organising and facilitating client meetings
7. Driving sales and revenue
The Ideal Business Development Executive candidate:
8. Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the premium spirits or beverage industry.
9. Strong understanding of the premium spirits market, including trends, key players, and consumer preferences.
10. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
11. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
12. Willingness to travel within Essex and occasionally beyond for client meetings, events, and industry functions.
