Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Children's Manager to oversee the care and well-being of children in our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of child care practices, particularly in managing care plans and supervising staff. This role is crucial in ensuring that all children receive high-quality care tailored to their individual needs.
Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and manage individual care plans for each child, ensuring they meet their specific needs.
* Supervise and lead a team of caregivers, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
* Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and adapt care plans as necessary.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to children's care, including medication administration and safety protocols.
* Foster a nurturing environment that promotes the emotional and physical well-being of children.
* Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to provide comprehensive support for each child.
* Maintain accurate records of children's health, behaviour, and progress in accordance with organisational policies.
Skills
* Proven experience in dementia care or similar fields is advantageous.
* Strong understanding of developing and implementing effective care plans.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
* Experience in senior care settings such as nursing homes or care homes is preferred.
* Proficient in medication administration procedures and best practices.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with families and professionals.

Experience:
* Residential Childcare: 2 years (required)
* Management in Residential Home: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
* Level 3 in Children's Residential Care (required)
* Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £47,500.00-£52,500.00 per year
