Summary
The Town of Shrewsbury, a full-service local government driven by high performance and creativity, is seeking a proactive and customer-focused professional to join the Business Management Division of the Department of Public Works as a Customer Service & Operations Support Specialist!
In this fast-paced, multifaceted role, you’ll be at the heart of supporting residents and stakeholders with all aspects of DPW operations. Whether addressing customer inquiries, streamlining processes, or ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding service to our community.
As a valued member of the BMD team, you’ll:
Provide exceptional customer service to meet the diverse needs of our residents and constituents.
Contribute to operational success across Utility Billing, Solid Waste & Recycling, Permitting, Financials, and other essential functions.
Help shape and maintain efficient workflows that align with our shared goals.

The Specialist works from the Public Works Office Suite in Town Hall. The work hours are 37.5 hours per week Monday through Friday, and overtime as needed.
