This is an exciting opportunity to support the Agile delivery across of a significant data transformation project within a secure environment with a central government customer. The successful contractor will join an established team and lead agile ceremonies, facilitating consistent flow of open communication, and ensuring teams are striving to continuously deliver value.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and facilitate all core Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, sprint reviews and daily stand-ups
* Coach and guide team members on Agile principles, fostering a shared understanding of best practices
* Proactively identify and eliminate blockers to maintain team momentum and focus
* Collaborate closely with Product Owners to ensure effective backlog prioritisation and refinement
* Champion a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration
* Ensure visibility of team progress through clear metrics, dashboards, and reporting
* Create and maintain a safe, open environment that encourages transparency, feedback, and innovation
Experience/ Skills Profile:
* Demonstrable experience as a Scrum Master or in an Agile delivery role within complex, secure environments
* Deep understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe
* Excellent stakeholder management skills.
* Experience mentoring and developing Agile capability within teams
* Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-security environment
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and adaptable approach
* Desirable: Central government experience

* Day rate: up to £595
* IR35 Status: Outside
* Location: Remote with 1 day a week onsite in London
* Start date: 1st May
* Duration: 6 month initial sign up, with significant opportunity for extension
* Required: Active SC Clearance
