Overview
A provider of flexible studio and workspace solutions for the creative industries within a converted Victorian bus depot in Notting Hill is seeking a dynamic and proactive Community & Marketing Manager to enhance tenant engagement and community relations. Following a recent refurbishment and the upcoming launch of a new website, this role will be pivotal in developing a membership scheme that offers exclusive incentives from local retailers and fostering connections between tenants and the wider Notting Hill community.
This client-facing role requires strong communication and customer service skills, as well as an innovative approach to marketing, social media, and community building.
Role Summary
The Community & Marketing Manager will be responsible for tenant engagement, social media, marketing strategies, and driving sales. The focus will be on promoting the building, attracting new tenants, and strengthening partnerships within the local community. The ideal candidate will have experience in community engagement, social media marketing, sales, and event coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Community Engagement & Tenant Relations:
* Build strong relationships with tenants to foster a collaborative and engaged community.
* Organise events, promotions, and initiatives that integrate tenants with the local Notting Hill area.
* Develop and oversee a tenant membership scheme, working with local retailers to offer discounts and incentives.
Marketing, Sales & Social Media Management:
* Manage social media platforms, creating engaging content to promote the building, tenants, and events.
* Work with agencies or consultants to implement effective marketing strategies.
* Oversee the launch and maintenance of the building’s website, ensuring it remains current and effective.
* Track marketing effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations to improve tenant attraction strategies.
* Proactively drive sales by converting viewings into lease agreements to maintain a high occupancy rate.
* Develop a sales-focused marketing approach, ensuring tenant inquiries are efficiently followed up for maximum conversion.
Lettings & Viewings Support:
* Respond to tenant inquiries and assist with viewings.
* Present the community benefits, events, and membership perks to potential tenants.
* Work alongside the Property Operations Manager to support occupancy targets.
* Maintain a proactive sales approach, ensuring viewings translate into signed lease agreements.
Other Duties:
* Act as the face of the building, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for tenants and visitors.
* Support additional marketing, sales, and engagement projects as required.
Skills & Experience Required
* Strong communication and social media marketing skills.
* Experience in community engagement, branding, or tenant relations.
* Background in sales, marketing, PR, hospitality, or events is advantageous.
* Proven ability to convert inquiries and viewings into lease agreements.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media management tools, and website maintenance.
* A creative and proactive mindset, particularly in event planning and partnership development.
* Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple engagement strategies simultaneously.
