Working hours: Monday-Thursday: 06:00-14:15, Friday: 06:00-14:00 (Initial training will be carried out on the day shift: Mon-Thurs 08:30-17:00, Fri 08:30-15:30)
Pay: £12.10 per hour (rising to £12.45 per hour upon successful completion of training and sign off)

The role
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our growing, dynamic Surface Mount team at CIL. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly and production of electronic components using Surface Mount Technology. The position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent team-work and the ability to handle various tools and equipment.
Whilst Surface Mount experience is very beneficial, we are keen to hear from people who have transferable machine operating/production experience within Electronics Manufacturing or similar.
Key duties & responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain SMT machinery to ensure efficient production processes
* Assemble electronic components with precision, whilst adhering to quality standards
* Utilise fine hand tools and microscopes for the assembly of products
* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
* Inspection of products to appropriate standards, ensuring all work is carried out in a timely and accurate manner
* Report any problems with products or processes to the SMT supervisor
* Adhere to the Health and Safety requirements and regulations
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following safety protocols
The ideal person will demonstrate the following:
* Experience in a manufacturing/production environment
* Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
* Ability to work well in a team
* Surface mount experience is strongly desirable
* Previous use of hand tools, microscopes or machinery would be advantageous
* Experience working in Electronics or an industry qualification is beneficial
