Role Overview:
They are seeking a motivated and passionate IT Apprentice to join their team and support the IT department in a variety of tasks. The role will involve exposure to various aspects of IT support, security processes, and network management, offering a hands-on learning experience in a fast-paced environment. This apprenticeship will provide you with the opportunity to develop both technical and professional skills through on-the-job training, along with classroom-based learning.
In this role, youll work towards your IT Support Level 3 Apprenticeship delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
* Support for all aspects of IT, from account management, PC Rollouts, software installations and system monitoring
* Working with Network management software/documentation, IP Address Management systems, Audits and Compliance
* Provide internal IT support via email, phone, face-to-face interactions, and the ticketing system
* Assist with PC hardware tasks including custom builds, component configuration, switch setup, and driver updates
* Work with Microsoft 365 cloud technologies as well as a number of other key Line of Business applications
* Opportunities for scripting, SQL reports, web development and automation
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours&Benefits:
* Salary: £16,000.00 - £20,000.00 per annum
* Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch break)

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
* Passionate about technology and keen to learn more
* Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members and internal customers
* An eagerness to work with both hardware and software and to support IT systems across the organisation
* Grade 4/C in Math's and 5/C in English
