Job summary We are seeking to recruit a gynaecologist to strengthen our gynaecology team and in preparation for the opening of our new surgical hub to provide efficient and high-quality care to women living across Wakefield and North Kirklees. We have state of the art hospitals at Pontefract and Wakefield and are building a new surgical hub including gynaecology at Dewsbury Hospital. Within the gynaecology services, we have a dedicated Gynaecology assessment unit on the Pinderfields site and offer a wide range of comprehensive to our patients including: - A BSGE Regional Endometriosis centre - Dedicated Gynaecology assessment unit in Pinderfields - Outpatient clinics for Menopause, Colposcopy, Uro-gynaecology, Endometriosis, Hysteroscopy, Minor procedures and Post-menopause Bleeding. - Gynaecology oncology unit, working with Leeds Teaching Hospital Oncology teams. - Elective surgery at Pinderfields and Dewsbury Hospitals with access to Da Vinci Robots on both sites. - Elective Obstetric suites in Pinderfields Hospital.
