Government Events: Specialists in delivering leading, information-led public sector conferences and events and we deliver events at the forefront of Government policy. We delivered over 200 online virtual conferences in 2020/2021 and have been recognised for our award winning 2020 online conference programmes.
MyPD: Executive Education division that provides courses, lasting between three and five days, for managers and leaders in a range of areas, they are both in an online and in-person format. We are a Registered Centre of the Chartered Management Institute which means we can offer their globally recognised management qualifications alongside our training. Our customers come from the private, public and third sectors.
GovPD: Provides one day online, or in-person in-house training to the public sector to develop careers and drive organisational change, mainly focused around 'soft' skills training, for example, emotional intelligence and women in leadership.

What we are looking for
Key Responsibilities and Duties
* Develop and execute marketing campaigns, in line with the delivery of key targets / deadlines for each conference / event as well as selling the conference to the delegates. Note, this is a dual role – 50% of the role is Sales and 50% is Marketing.
* Ensure all digital channels are updated with engaging and effective content.
* Write and proofread creative commercially driven copy.
* Research, analyse and report on marketing activities to support decision making.
* Understand and select key audiences using our existing data platforms.
* Closely collaborate with production and the sales department to ensure commercial success.
* Manage conference / event websites – ensuring all written copy is up to date, consistent and correct.
* Work towards KPIs and revenue targets.
* Conduct various administrative aspects of events / conferences including customer enquiries.
Education, Experience and Competencies
* Educated to degree level (preferably with a Marketing or related degree).
* Familiarity of using an email marketing software is preferred, but not essential.
* Creative thinker as well as the ability to produce persuasive copy.
* Interest and/or understanding of government and public-sector policy is preferred, but not essential.
* A positive, ‘can do’ attitude with strong multi-tasking skills.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Flexible team player, with ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Confidently able to deal with customers/ delegates via both phone and e-mail.
