As we continue to evolve, we are seeking a dynamic, creative Social Media and Content Manager to help us activate our brand and tell our story to a broad range of customers and audiences, lead our digital storytelling, build brand awareness, and drive engagement across our social and digital channels.
You will support with the development and delivery of compelling and engaging content that aligns with our brand values and business objectives, helping to enhance our reputation and connect with customers in meaningful ways.
Here’s a taste of what you will be doing as a Social Media and Content Manager at Nottingham Building Society:
1. Execute our social media strategy to build brand awareness and customer advocacy, ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
2. Manage the delivery of timely and engaging content across our social media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok etc.).
3. Monitor trends, conversations, and competitor activity to keep our approach fresh and relevant.
4. Engage with our online community, responding to queries and comments in a brand-appropriate tone.
5. Collaborate with the PR & Content Manager to manage and update the content calendar, ensuring a mix of content that informs, educates, and entertains our audience.
6. Create compelling written, visual, and video content for social media, blog posts, and website updates.
7. Track and analyse social media performance, using insights to refine strategies and improve results.
About you:
1. Demonstrable experience in a social media and content role, ideally within financial services or a regulated industry.
2. Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
3. Experience creating content and campaigns across multiple digital platforms.
4. Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimisation.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
