Bookmark Education is seeking a dynamic SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and behavioural challenges within an Infant School. What’s Involved? Create a Positive, Impactful Learning Environment: Support pupils in an energetic EYFS classroom, helping them engage with their lessons and grow academically. Tailored Support for Every Student: Work with small groups and provide one-on-one interventions to meet individual needs, from early phonics through to challenging behavioural issues. Diverse Learning Needs: Support students with a range of SEN, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, Dyslexia, and Speech & Language difficulties—every day brings a new challenge Collaborate with Teachers & SENCOs: Work closely with teaching staff to track progress, fine-tune teaching strategies, and ensure that all students reach their potential. Bring Creativity into the Classroom: Use your imagination to create exciting lessons and activities that captivate and motivate students, helping them to develop social and academic skills. Promote Positive Behaviour: Offer individualized support to children struggling with behavioural challenges, helping them build social skills, resilience, and confidence. What We’re Looking For: Relevant Qualifications: A degree or Teaching Assistant qualification will set you up for success. Experience with Children: Previous experience in a school or educational setting is essential. Experience working with SEN students is a plus Adaptability & Creativity: Your ability to be flexible and think on your feet will be key.
