Think Community Partnership are seeking a dedicated and proactive Sheltered Scheme Manageron a temporary, part-time basis. In this key role, you will manage sheltered housing schemes across Hereford and Redditch, ensuring high-quality services are provided to residents.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for supporting older people, excellent organisational skills, and experience in housing or support services.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary contact for residents, providing a responsive and empathetic service to meet their needs.
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of sheltered housing schemes, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
* Conduct regular welfare checks and liaise with residents to promote their well-being and independence.
* Manage and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and cleaning services at the schemes.
* Support new resident onboarding, including tenancy sign-ups and orientation.
* Collaborate with external agencies and community organizations to enhance resident services.
* Maintain accurate records, complete reports, and ensure confidentiality at all times
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* Experience in housing management, support services, or a similar role.
* Knowledge of issues affecting older or vulnerable adults.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* The ability to work independently and flexibly across multiple locations.
* A valid driving license and access to a vehicle (essential).
