Role Overview As a CAD & REVIT Technician, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality design solutions and technical drawings for both mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines. You will collaborate closely with project teams, clients, and other disciplines to ensure successful project delivery, from concept through to completion. Key Responsibilities Technical Drawing Production: Create and maintain detailed 2D and 3D drawings and models using AutoCAD and Revit to support mechanical and electrical engineering designs. Project Support: Assist in the development of design solutions for HVAC systems, plumbing, power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, security systems, and renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure designs align with project requirements and specifications. Quality Assurance: Review and validate drawings to maintain accuracy and adherence to project and regulatory standards. Sustainability Integration: Incorporate sustainable and energy-efficient design practices where applicable. Documentation: Maintain organised project documentation and ensure timely updates of revisions and as-built drawings. Site Collaboration: Support project delivery by attending meetings and site visits to ensure alignment between design intent and construction. Skills & Qualifications Educational Background: Certification or diploma in CAD/Revit design, engineering, or a related field Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is essential. Familiarity with other design tools and calculation software is advantageous Experience: Proven experience as a CAD & REVIT Technician, preferably within a consultancy or similar environment Knowledge: Understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering concepts and relevant standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., BS 7671, Building Regulations) Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality outputs Sustainability Focus: Passion for energy-efficient and renewable technologies is desirable ADZN1_UKTJ
