An innovative and highly engineering-focused Manufacturing firm within the food sector, based in Bradford, are looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Engineer with an Electrical Bias. Due to the often, ‘last-minute’ and versatile production requirements demanded by the business, a strong maintenance engineer with a keen eye for innovative engineering solutions is needed. No 2-days are the same The site is comfortably commutable by car from Leeds, Halifax, Huddersfield, Brighouse, Ossett, Morley and Wakefield The role will require the Maintenance Engineer to carry out full-site wide maintenance, with the majority of the time being spent on machinery maintenance. Site wide facilities maintenance duties may be required from time to time. This is a great fit for a strong Engineer. The business are very Engineering oriented from Directors down, with the full leadership team coming from an Engineering background. Due to the industry demands, the business are looking for a competent Engineer who can offer dynamic and creative engineering solutions in order to get projects off the ground. Strong technical Engineering background is needed, with a Multi Skilled background in both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, ideally within a food-environment. The duties of the role include; Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance solutions, to provide condition reports on site-wide machinery. Set new lines and Engineer solutions to get new production projects off the ground. Identify opportunities for Machinery improvements and efficiency improvements. Fault finding/machinery inspections. The ideal candidate will have; NVQ L3 (or higher) in Electrical Engineering (or similar Electrical discipline) Experience within a food-manufacturing environment Experience at planned-preventative and reactive maintenance cycles Experience with 3-phase motors and other components. Working knowledge of PLC programming (desirable) Working knowledge of 3D Design and Print software (desirable) The role offers a very-comptetitive salary of between £42k-£46k for right candidate. You will need to confidently demonstrate you have all of the above required skills to achieve the full salary figure.
