Your role of Store Design and Visual Merchandise Coordinator sits within our friendly and creative Visual Merchandising department.
Your Role:
1. To deliver a variety of interior design and building projects across the business.
2. Survey buildings at the feasibility stage.
3. Prepare 2D plans and elevations, working drawings, the ability to deliver 3D Models, signage schemes and colour presentations for internal and external use, using CAD (Vector works) and Adobe Creative suite software.
4. Ensuring all drawings adhere to current planning and building regulations.
5. Liaise with and obtain the approval of key internal stakeholders for the proposed designs.
6. To complete, submit and manage Planning and Building Control applications for statutory approvals.
7. Submit drawings to external project managers to obtain quotations for all works.
8. Review quotations to ensure that work meets budgetary requirements of each project.
9. Ensure POs are raised and issued to contractors in time to meet project timescales.
10. Code and approve invoices to ensure prompt payment.
11. On assigned projects, be the company’s lead representative through the construction period to ensure that the build matches the design intent.
12. Work closely with external project managers consultants and other design professionals, manufacturers and contractors.
13. Visit stores throughout each project.
14. Brief graphics and marketing teams for artwork required for shopfront opening vinyls through to In-store Imagery (Fitting Rooms/Till Point).
15. Snag and sign off completed projects.
Design Development
16. Participate in the review of the store environment and the design and effectiveness of store fixtures and fittings to identify improvements and potential cost savings in liaison with the VM teams and have creative input.
17. Undertake research to establish appropriate construction methods and materials having regard to the company’s intent to create a more portable, reusable and sustainable shop fit.
18. Source products and samples and produce mood/sample boards for design presentations.
19. Engage with manufacturers to develop construction drawings and prepare prototypes of proposed new equipment for internal consideration and approval.
20. To ensure the store design guidelines are updated to incorporate all new developments for internal and external use.
Visual Merchandising
21. Manage seasonal update of in store imagery allocations for internal and external use
22. Support VM team when required for new store openings/IG’s and internal set ups.
Property
23. Support the Property Manager with site identification.
24. Support the property team with design specs for maintenance issues
General

44. Experience within a similar role is essential ideally within an interior design background
Where will you be working?
This is a full time role field based role where you can also expect to be present at our Head Office in Leicestershire, 2 days per week. This would be in line with business needs.
